Lightly mist the hair with a water and conditioner mix as needed to maintain moistur
Gently separate curls using your fingers to keep the hair defined
Keep products minimal to prevent buildup
Avoid excessive touching or manipulation throughout the day to reduce frizz
Wash every 1 to 2 weeks to prevent buildup and tangling. Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner
Detangle while wet using a Tangle Teezer or Denman brush, starting from the ends and working your way up. Allow hair to air dry completely. Do not touch or manipulate hair while air drying to prevent frizz.
Optional: Use a very lightweight defining cream for a more defined look. You may also use an alcohol-free, moisturizing mousse. Keep products minimal to avoid buildup
Wear a long satin braid bonnet. Loosely braid or section longer styles before bed
Avoid cotton friction by using satin or silk only. Do not sleep with damp hair as this can cause frizz.
Protecting your hair at night is one of the biggest factors in maintaining your style.
We recommend washing in the morning so the hair can fully air dry.
Sleeping on damp hair may cause Frizz, Tangling, and Loss of definition.
